The purpose for which the corporation is formed is to operate exclusively for the promotion of social welfare by undertaking the following activities: (A) To identify problems and advocate solutions in the areas of: (1) Consumer protection; (2) environmental preservation; (3) protection against discrimination on the basis of illegal or unjust criteria; (4) corporate and governmental responsiblity to the public; (5) public and occupational health and safety; (6) energy policy; and, (7) other matters affecting the economic and social well-being of the inhabitants of the United States. (B) To conduct research, analysis, testing, and investigations on the matters listed in subparagraph (A) above. (C) To publish information and conduct public education on the aforementioned matters; (D) To provide technical assistance to, and to work in conjunction with, other organizations which are exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to sections 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Cod

Water and Sanitation Health is focused on sustainable developments. We do this by providing clean water supplies, waste management systems, education by constructing or expanding potable water systems and latrines, organizing and training water committees and plumbers, and to educate community groups on sanitation, health and the environment. Water and Sanitation Health also expands health education and access to health resources through giving educational seminars, building home gardens and cleaner stoves, expanding access to HIV/Aids prevention tools and by promoting a health lifestyle.14,571
